The N95 8511 3M(TM) Disposable Particulate Respirator is designed to help provide workers with reliable respiratory protection against certain oil-free particles. This respirator can help reduce inhalation exposure to certain airborne biological particles (e.g. mold, anthrax, Koch's bacillus, etc.), but does not eliminate the risk of infection or disease. The soft inner material provides enhanced comfort, while the shell design makes for a roomy, durable respirator. Braided headbands and an adjustable M-shaped nose clip help provide a secure, customized seal. This respirator contains 3M's exclusive electrostatic microfiber filter material, designed to facilitate breathing. Compatible with a variety of eye and hearing protection products. Featuring a 3M(TM) Cool Flow(TM) exhalation valve, this respirator is ideal for work environments where heat and humidity are present, and prolonged wear is required. The exclusive valve is designed to rapidly evacuate hot, humid exhaled air, helping to prevent unpleasant heat build-up in the facepiece, a major source of discomfort for respirator users. The valve's effectiveness in keeping the air cooler and more comfortable has been demonstrated in tests*: the atmosphere inside a respirator fitted with a Cool Flow Valve is on average -13.6°C (7.5°F) cooler than that in a similar respirator without a valve.
